About Curlew Cottage

Curlew Cottage is a semi-detached barn conversion, 1 of 4, within the grounds of a farm running deer. Set between the villages of Keeston and Camrose, it is conveniently located in beautiful countryside and only a short drive from the glorious sandy beaches of Newgale, Druidston, Broad Haven, Little Haven and Nolton where watersports and other activities abound; and halfway between Britain's smallest city St Davids and the market town of Haverfordwest.

Many of the surrounding villages have restaurants and pubs of character to sample. It is comfortably furnished and finished to a high standard throughout with a spacious farmhouse style kitchen/diner. The light, double aspect and large lounge, with cosy sofas to relax in, has stairs leading up to the pretty bedrooms in the eaves. Stable doors lead out one way to a sheltered patio overlooking the courtyard and a large lawn the other offering lovely rural views, an ideal spot to enjoy an alfresco meal and children to play.

Curlew Cottage is in an excellent base from which to explore this scenic and historic County.

Alan and Jan Allsop

‘2nd time here and last visited with three girlfriends. Cottage just as comfortable and well located for Solva and Broad Haven. Walked over to Little Haven for lunch at The Castle – recommended for service and food. Solva is just idyllic – take a walk along coast path towards Nolton Haven – breathtaking. Also visited our favourite town, Narberth and for peace and quiet and great walking with views and cannot be beaten on this fabulous coastline.’

Martin and Ros

‘Lovely house and a lovely few days. Thank you’

The Sprys

‘Our second stay here, and another wonderful family time spent in this very special corner of Wales. Thank you.’ ‘I really enjoyed this 2 week stay in Curlew Cottage. My favourite part has been body boarding on Whitesands and Newgale. The cottage has been the best place to come back to and relax after a fun day out. I’ve also really enjoyed playing Monopoly- the kids beat the parents! - Evie Spry ‘

The Goachers

'Comfortable, clean and relaxing'

Mark and Pam Drake

I would like to say thank you for a lovely stay at Curlew cottage, both myself and my Mum really enjoyed it. The cottage was lovely and clean and spacious and very homely . We also appreciate the milk and cookies left for us in the cottage , it was almost midnight when we arrived so we were able to have a hot drink on our arrival as opposed to having to wait until the next day to buy milk from a store. Everything about our stay in the cottage was lovely and I love that it is a barn conversion, I would have liked to left a message in the guest book but didn't have a pen available so I hope this email will suffice to show our appreciation. We hope to be back again soon for another lovely stay. Thanks again to yourselves and the owner Mark and Pam Drake
